For history buffs: you should know that you are sleeping on the site of an ancient monastery
founded in the 12th c. by a Flemish nobleman who wanted to provide pilgrims a safe,
friendly stopover place on their way to Compostela. Dômerie Aubrac was later described
as "the St. Bernard of France" by Chateaubriand himself...
